Upcoming Forum: K-12 Sector in British Columbia

When: May 6, 2020
Time: 10 a.m.  – 11:00 a.m. PDT
Where: Online via GoToWebinar

BCCIE invites stakeholders from British Columbia's K-12 sector for a discussion focusing on the experiences, challenges, and opportunities facing K-12 public and independent schools in light of the impacts brought on by COVID-19.

Topic areas will cover salient issues identified by our recent survey, which prioritized a number of concerns for the sector including navigating the balance of the school year, parental/host family supports for academic delivery, implications for summer programs and fall intake, the migration to virtual delivery and activity, and the ongoing and future pastoral care of students.

Information shared and gathered from our Forum will inform BCCIE on the development of ensuing support and services to help ensure continuity and resilience within our sector.

BCCIE will also be hosting Forums for Private Post-Secondary institutions and Language Schools and Public Post-Secondary institutions in subsequent weeks following this event.
