Canada and China have reached a reciprocal agreement to introduce a 10-year, multiple entry visa for business, travel and tourism in a move that will boost bilateral trade ties and people-to-people exchanges.

Under the new visa, which came into play this week, Chinese citizens can enter Canada on multiple occasions over the ten-year period and vice-versa, provided each stay does not exceed 180 days.
