OTTAWA, ON – March 13, 2015 – The State of Par​​á​, Brazil, the Canadian Association of Public Schools (CAPS-I) and Languages Canada signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last week to support closer working relations between the three parties.

Promoting the mutual assistance of English language education, cultural exchange and public school management, are among the objectives of the MOU. Signatories included: Helenilson Cunha Pontes, Secretary of State for Education for the State of Par​​á​, Brazil; Bonnie McKie, Executive Director, Canadian Association of Public Schools – International (CAPS-I); and Gonzalo Peralta, Executive Director, Languages Canada.
