November 21, 2023 – Partners of the Americas (POA) and the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the U.S. Department of State (WHA/DOS), along with U.S. embassies in Canada and Mexico, invite higher education institutions (HEIs) from Canada, Mexico and the United States to submit proposals for consideration in the 100,000 Strong in the Americas North America Climate/Inclusive Education grant competition (CLIMA/IE).

The competition will expand trilateral education cooperation and increase access to inclusive student and faculty exchange and training programs focused on climate action, green technology, renewable energy, and related areas.

• Funding organizations: Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and Amazon, in collaboration with WHA/DOS and POA
• Target audiences: Higher education institutions (HEIs) in Canada, Mexico and the United States
• Deadline: March 17, 2024
