BCCIE recognized as an Outstanding Contribution Partner by CEAIE

BCCIE was recently recognized by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) as an Outstanding Contribution Partner as part of their 40th anniversary celebration. BCCIE was one of 34 international education organizations around-the-world recognized. The awards were given out during a ceremony held on October 22, 2021 in Beijing prior to the 2021 China Education Expo.

The China Education Expo is the largest event officially approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education dedicated to international student recruitment in China. It was hosted by CEAIE and delivered, for the first time ever, in a hybrid format, allowing for in-person and virtual attendance. Over 40 Canadian institutions, including ten from BC, participated in CEE- Beijing.

BCCIE was proud to represent BC as a virtual exhibitor as well as part of the Canadian Market Briefing and Networking session hosted by the Embassy of Canada to China.

“It was great to be part of China Education Expo and being recognized by CEAIE was a double-honour,” said Kate Zhang, Manager, Market Support and Partnership Development. “It was really interesting participating in a hybrid event. It was my first time managing a physical booth in Beijing through a video link. It was good to be able to connect face-to-face with interested students. I think that hybrid conferences like this will become the norm moving forward.”
