BCCIE and EDUCAFIN partner to increase international mobility initiatives
Guanajuato, Mexico — The BC Council for International Education (BCCIE) and Instituto de Financiamiento e Información para la Educación (EDUCAFIN) announce a new partnership to develop reciprocal institutional, student, and educator mobility initiatives between Canada and Mexico.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Colin Doerr, Director, External Relations, at BCCIE, and Jorge Enrique Hernández Meza, Director General, at EDUCAFIN, following a roundtable meeting in Guanajuato, Mexico. This is the first partnership between BCCIE and EDUCAFIN.
The MOU signing follows a BCCIE-organized mission to Mexico where BC post-secondaries met with existing and potential partners to further develop institutional relationships.
