Mexico City, Mexico — The BC Council for International Education (BCCIE) announced a new partnership today with the Asociación Mexicana para la Educación Internacional (AMPEI) to advance the international education interests of both organizations and to promote the two-way flow of students and educators between Canada and Mexico.

Based on a shared commitment to support relations between both countries, the agreement will help facilitate the cultural, academic, and business exchange of BC, Canadian, and Mexican educational institutions, students, and educators, and strengthen the internationalization efforts of BCCIE and AMPEI.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Colin Doerr, Director, External Relations, at BCCIE, and América M. Lizárraga González, President, at AMPEI, during BCCIE’s team BC Mexico mission. This is the first MOU signed between BCCIE and AMPEI.
