Canadian students and researchers are invited to apply for the 2025 Merit Scholarships, offered by the Government of Mexico through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID). The program promotes international collaboration and the development of human capital.

• Program name:  2025 Merit Scholarships
• Funding organization:  AMEXCID, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico
• Target audiences:  Canadian undergraduate and graduate students, and doctoral and postdoctoral researchers
• Duration:  3 to 24 months depending on the scholarship component selected
• Inclusions:  Monthly stipend, medical insurance, visa fee exemption, airfare, and transportation (conditions apply)
• Deadline:  September 12, 2025
