On a visit to colleges in British Columbia, Canada, hosted by the British Columbia Council for International Education, we were fortunate enough to visit the colleges and universities on Vancouver Island. British Columbia offers a great variety of institutions and it was evident in the options available on the island. Vancouver Island provides a beautiful setting, lots of outdoor recreational opportunities, and because the provincial capital is in Victoria, still provides cosmopolitan options that you would expect in a place where the seat of the government resides.
