SEAMEO International Conference 2025: Call for Submissions

The SEAMEO RETRAC International Conference is being co-hosted by BCCIE, ABIE, and CBIE from October 8-9, 2025. The theme this year is: Internationalization in Leadership and Management in Higher Education: Perspectives, Innovations and Best Practices. Find out more about the conference here

Submission Method

You are invited to submit the abstract of not more than 300 words electronically to internationalconference@vnseameo.org using MS Word format. 

Submission Requirement

The abstract should be proceeded by the title of the paper, the name(s) and institutional affiliations of the author(s).

The font should be Times New Roman , in 12pt and  single space needed.

The abstract, including brief biographies,  must be submitted by July 31, 2025.

The announcement of abstracts that have been accepted for presentation  will be within 10 working days of receipt (not including weekends) and by no later than August 15, 2025 .

Conference Publication

The submitted abstract should include a title , name(s) and  affiliations of all authors, and be in MS Word format . Postal address,  telephone number and e-mail address of the author(s) are also required . All accepted abstracts will appear in the proceedings.

Language and Presentation Guidelines

The language of the Conference is English – No translation provided. Presenters are required to take 15 minutes to present their ideas (PowerPoint can be used). Due to the Conference’s time constraint, there will be only one presenter for each abstract to give presentation at the Conference.

The organizers envision an interactive conference with presentations followed by questions and answers and discussion of the ideas presented. Papers should not be too theoretical nor too specifically “here’s what we do”, but address the practical aspects in higher education practices with a strong focus on innovations and best practices undertaken in the internationalization context in different areas an in accordance with the identified sub-themes of the Conference.
