Close to 150 participants from post-secondary institutions across British Columbia came together on January 18th and 19th for the BC Symposium: Advancing International Student Support presented by BCCIE in partnership with the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).

This symposium gave the opportunity for international education practitioners to share knowledge and resources with the aim of further advancing international student support in BC. Many topics were discussed with highlights including presentations on: supporting students to achieve professional success, creating a sense of belonging for international students, and promoting students’ health and well-being. The presentations will be available on the BCCIE website soon.
