Western Canada/Taiwan Virtual B2B Partnership Development Event

Building on the success from the past two virtual B2B networking events, BCCIE is pleased to announce that in collaboration with the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET) and Canadian Trade Office in Taipei, a Western Canada/Taiwan Virtual B2B Partnership Development Event is being planned. We are hoping to bring institutions from both regions together to foster connection and dialogue.

This virtual engagement will take place from 5:30 – 7:30 pm PST on Tuesday, May 7. It will feature a market update regarding emerging trends and developments happening in Taiwan and Canada, followed by a series of B2B sessions to facilitate conversations. This event serves as a preamble to those who are attending NAFSA 2024 as many of the participating Taiwanese institutions will be going to New Orleans, so you can arrange an in-person meeting after interacting online to continue the conversation.

Registration is required by completing the Expression of Interest Form. Please be sure to indicate your institution’s strategic interests with Taiwanese institutions, as we will use that information to complete the pre-matching with FICHET. For reference, FICHET shared two priority programs that Taiwan is currently undertaking: Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College and Taiwan’s Ministry of Education launched the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP).
