Unlocking Opportunities in the EU’s Flagship Academic Mobility and Cooperation Programme
Erasmus+, the European Union’s flagship program for education, training, youth, and sport, provides institutions outside the EU with funding for international mobility projects, joint academic programs, as well as teaching and research initiatives focused on Europe.
Since January 2024, Global Affairs Canada has served as the Erasmus+ National Focal Point (ENFP), an official designation by the European Commission to promote the program and facilitate its implementation in Canada. Additionally, the province of Quebec has a sub-national Focal Point, housed within its Ministry of Higher Education.
During this presentation, Dr. Anna Piotrowska will provide an overview of the program and explain how it can support Canadian postsecondary institutions in advancing their internationalization goals.
This general information session is open to all Canadian post-secondary institutions, especially those unfamiliar with or new to the program. The session will be conducted in both English and French, with bilingual visuals.
