On the Road Again (Part 2): Optimizing Costs, Maximizing Loyalty Programs – Round Table
Based on positive feedback from the first webinar, “On the Road Again: Optimizing Costs, Maximizing Loyalty Programs”, BCCIE has decided to continue the discussion with a part two update of this event in a more interactive format and round table discussion.
Whether you are a frequent traveller on recruitment missions or just attend occasional conferences and meetings, comfort and cost savings remain crucial. Understanding the ever changing airline, hotel and credit card loyalty programs is an ongoing chore. This interactive event will cover basic and advance tools on how to make professional travel both cost effective and comfortable so you can both maximize your work and effectiveness while minimizing costs.

Presenters
Boris Remes is an Assistant Director of Admissions at Bodwell High School who turned his extended corporate travel into a passion for loyalty programs. With some moderate effort he optimized his flights, hotel stays and credit card purchases to enjoy complimentary upgrades on flights and hotels. Boris believes that with some adequate strategies for loyalty programs, everyone is able to maximise their corporate travel while taking full advantage of the loyalty programs. This would ultimately save money and make travels more comfortable and effective.
Jeff Kwok is the founder at Canadian Kilometers, a blog about “travel, miles, and tips with a Canadian Perspective.” He is currently a Bachelor of Commerce student at The University of British Columbia.
This is a non-paid BCCIE event open to all educators outside of BC as well as BC public school districts, recognized independent K-12 schools and EQA-designated post-secondary institutions and language schools.
