Intercultural Dynamics in International Education
Are you a new practitioner in international education? Or know someone who is at the beginning stages of their career and would like to learn more about the field? BCIT is running an International Education Practitioner-Foundation (IEP) Microcredential Program, and one of the online courses, Intercultural Dynamics in International Education, starts on March 14, 2023.
This course, Intercultural Dynamics in International Education, will examine the significance of cultural awareness for practice in culturally diverse settings. Intercultural competence frameworks and models from western and non-western perspectives will be explored through discussion, reflective journaling and assignments. This course will also develop professional competence in the implementation of strategies that promote inclusion and foster the academic and socio-cultural goals of internationalization.
The course runs every Tuesday for five weeks with a commitment of three-five hours per week. It costs $85 (domestic tuition) and $255 (international tuition). Applications are open until the end of day on March 10!
