EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada is pleased to invite provincial governments and eligible Canadian institutions to participate in the next edition of the Education in Canada Fairs in Africa in early 2014. The francophone and anglophone tours will run concurrently, starting after the stop in Cameroon. This tour is designed to allow Canadian representatives to reach out to potential students and parents, as well as educational agents and institutional representatives, throughout the region.
Africa is an increasingly important market for Canadian institutions, and interest in studying in Canada is growing rapidly among African students. Activities on the tour have been designed to assist Canadian institutions in their promotion efforts by:
- Building awareness about education in Canada;
- Attracting a high caliber of students to the events through targeted promotion;
- Facilitating linkages with educational institutions and reputable agents in the countries visited.
