BCIT Course: Mobility for Students and Faculty
Are you a new practitioner in international education? Or know someone who is at the beginning stages of their career and would like to learn more about the field? BCIT is running an International Education Practitioner-Foundation (IEP) Microcredential Program, and one of the online courses, Mobility for Students and Faculty, starts on April 25, 2023.
This course, Mobility for Students and Faculty, includes an overview of the core professional functions and concepts of outbound mobility in international education. Best practices and foundational considerations for planning and organizing international mobility in higher education will be explored through interactive activities, group discussions, and assignments. This introductory course will develop practitioners’ competencies to support the effective planning and organizing of outbound mobility for students and faculty.
The course runs every Tuesday for five weeks with a commitment of three-five hours per week. It costs $85 (domestic tuition) and $255 (international tuition). Applications are open until the end of day on April 24!
