2015 Caribbean Regional Education Tour (CRET)
Target Audience:
Post-secondary institutions in all markets; however K-12 schools are invited to Barbados and St. Lucia as well.

The High Commissions of Canada in Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago invite you to participate in the 2015 Caribbean Regional Education Tour which is designed to cover the Caribbean markets and allow Canadian institution representatives the opportunity to interact with potential students, parents, guidance counselors as well as educational agents and other education stakeholders.
The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada is pleased to invite provincial governments and eligible Canadian institutions to participate in the next edition of the 2015 Caribbean Regional Education Tour. This tour is designed to allow Canadian representatives to reach out to potential students and parents, as well as educational agents and institutional representatives, throughout the region.

The Caribbean is an increasingly important market for Canadian institutions, and interest in studying in Canada is growing rapidly among students from the Caribbean. Activities on the tour have been designed to assist Canadian institutions in their promotion efforts by:
- Building awareness about education in Canada;
- Attracting a high calibre of students to the events through targeted promotion; and
- Facilitating linkages with educational institutions and reputable agents in the countries visited.
The Tour will consist of Canada-only fairs, including in Barbados and St. Lucia and offer market briefings, networking receptions and information sessions for visitors on study and research opportunities in Canada and study permit application procedures.

CUP Fest 2015 In Barbados and St. Lucia
The Student Centre, in collaboration with the Canadian High Commission in Bridgetown, Barbados will be hosting CUP FEST 2015 – Canada Education Fair Edition from October 16-18, 2015 in the island of Barbados and October 20-21, 2015 in the island of St. Lucia.
This exciting customized thematic event seeks to attract K-12, College and University bound students interested in studying in Canada. Visitors to fairs of this nature usually comprise of students, parents, teachers, guidance counsellors and other interested persons over each two day period. These Education Fairs have always proven to be an excellent forum for personal interaction with potential students and parents alike, and an effective recruitment exercise.
