2015 NACAC Annual Conference
Join the 2015 National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) Conference
The Embassy of Canada in Washington, D.C. is pleased to invite provincial and territorial governments, national associations and eligible Canadian post-secondary institutions to participate in the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) Conference in San Diego, California.
NACAC is an organization of more than 12,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. More than 5,500 college admission counselling professionals attend the national conference and the conference hosts approximately 200 exhibits each year. Visit nacacnet.org for more information.
This year, the Embassy will coordinate the following activities:

Canada Pavilion (October 1 to 3, 2015)
The Canada Pavilion will welcome Canadian institutions on a rotational basis. Institutions are invited to select their preferred timeslots in advance when they register.
Exhibition dates and times:
Thursday, October 1
Friday, October 2
Saturday, October 3
10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
1:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
General criteria/guidelines for participation:
a. Participants must register online via the provided link below.
b. Schedules will be based on one-hour slots.
c. There are no fees to be represented in the Canada Pavilion, however, representatives are responsible for their conference registration (additional fees apply).
d. Participating institutional representatives are responsible for providing the material of their choice to be distributed at the booth (institution-specific and general publications; promotional material, etc.). A maximum of 25 brochures per participant is recommended. Note that on-site storage is very limited.

8th Canada Reception at NACAC
The annual Canada Reception for high school counselors, hosted by Canadian universities and colleges in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2015, from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at:

This is a unique opportunity to showcase Canada’s educational institutions and offer a memorable event! Please note: You must register for the event if you want your institution recognized!
The participation cost per institution is $600 CDN to cover room rental, food, beverage, gifts, entertainment and decorations. The reception is a unique opportunity to casually connect and build relationships with over 200 influential guidance counsellors and consultants for your U.S. and global recruitment goals.

Counselors' College Fair at NACAC The Counselors' College Fair on Friday, October 2, from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m., provides a great opportunity for Canadian institutions to share information and network with high school and independent counsellor attendees of the national conference. More than 500 colleges and universities will be represented at the fair in one large hall with rows of tables. Registration on/before August 25 is US$330 for NACAC members; US$635 for non-members.
