Businesses, educational institutions and volunteer organizations are increasingly offering opportunities to experience living, studying and working abroad. Explore components of the international assignment cycle; challenges and success factors; strategies for intercultural effectiveness; and programs to support employees, students and volunteers throughout their international assignments.
This course can be applied to the UBC Certificate in Intercultural Studies and the UBC Award of Achievement in Intercultural Communication.
Course Format
The format of this course is 100% online. One week prior to the start of the course, an email will be sent to all registered students containing instructions on how to access the online Learning Management System.
