2026 AMEXCID Academic Mobility Program for Indigenous Students and Faculty

The Government of Mexico, through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), is accepting applications for the 2026 AMEXCID Indigenous Canadian Academic Groups Program.

This initiative aims to strengthen academic cooperation and cultural exchange between Mexico and Canada by promoting student mobility and knowledge exchange among Indigenous communities in both countries. Canadian higher education institutions are invited to nominate Indigenous students and faculty members interested in short-term academic and cultural stays in Mexico.

AMEXCID will provide up to 10 grants for participants from Canadian higher education institutions, including six students and four faculty members.
