Edward Urunsak | Head of Marketing & Partnerships @ NOVVA Technology
Edward is part of the small but active team at NOVVA, leading on the growth of the company’s external presence and the relationship development and partnership building that it entails. With a diverse professional background spanning several sectors, Edward has spent the last 7 years in education – from study abroad and international partnerships at Regent’s University London, to his current occupation geared towards bringing sustainable and accessible online solutions to high schools, university recruiters and the students they seek to engage.
Zach Tobin | Director of Member Relations – United States @ ISEP Study Abroad
Zach Tobin is the Director of Member Relations for the United States at ISEP Study Abroad. Zach also chairs ISEP’s Sustainability Taskforce and has made signing the CANIE Accord one of ISEP’s first signature actions on sustainability and climate change. Zach earned his MA in Student Affairs Administration at Michigan State University and BA in International Studies at the University of Washington. Prior to his position at ISEP, Zach served in a variety of international education positions in Michigan, Oregon, Arizona, and Washington State.
Kaitlin Sommerfeld | Assistant Director of Overseas & Off-Campus Programs @ Lewis & Clark College
Kaitlin Sommerfeld is the Assistant Director of Overseas & Off-Campus Programs at Lewis & Clark College. In addition to working to ensure that L&C upholds the sustainability commitments outlined in their CANIE agreement, Kaitlin is currently developing a climate education pre-departure orientation module which will be required for all L&C students participating in overseas programs. Kaitlin holds an MA in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and a BA in Hispanic Studies from Lewis & Clark College. Kaitlin is excited by the potential that international education has to further sustainability initiatives, and enthusiastic about supporting this effort at Lewis & Clark.
Lindsey Lyons | Director of Sustainability Learning @ Dickinson College
Lindsey Lyons is the Director of Sustainability Learning at Dickinson College. She is working to embed sustainability across the curriculum and into education abroad. Lindsey has overseen many initiatives that have helped Dickinson secure recognition as a national leader in sustainability and as a carbon neutral institution. Lindsey has a B.S. in biology from Lynchburg College and a M.S. in environmental education from Southern Oregon University. As a teacher, outdoor school creator, former community extension agent for Oregon State University and experiential education advocate, Lindsey understands that education is key to a sustainable future and is working to make those connections.
