New Initiatives for Canadian Students Outbound Mobility to India
Global Affairs Canada’s International Education Division, is pleased to share two new initiatives for Canadian students outbound mobility to India offered by the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (SICI), with the financial support of Global Affairs Canada.
Shastri Student Internship in India (SSII): The SSII project-grants offer Internship and Co-op opportunities (International Work Integrated Learning) in India for Canadian undergraduate-level students. The SSII grant recipients will be Canadian undergrad students at SICI member institutions going to India for three months to work on specific projects in their host Indian organizations.

Shastri Faculty Training in Applied Education (SFTAE): The SFTAE grant opportunity is open to faculty members and instructors from member institutes of Polytechnics Canada only. The participating Canadian faculty/instructors will get a chance to visit and work with their counterparts in India for two weeks.
Application deadline: December 31, 2022 (11:00 pm MST).
