Through an agreement between the Province of British Columbia and the National Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese Government is offering scholarships for eligible BC students to study abroad. The Chinese Government Scholarship Program aims to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and people around the world. It supports the development of cooperation and exchange in the fields of education, science, culture, economy and trade between China and other countries.

In BC, the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, administers the recruitment of students and the routine management of the scholarship program. Full and partial scholarships are offered to successful applicants to study in China.

Deadline to apply is February 11, 2022.
