KPU Advances Study Abroad Opportunities Through UMAP
BC’s Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is the latest, and seventeenth, Canadian institution to join the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) Consortium. UMAP provides post-secondary institutions with an opportunity to connect their students with colleges and universities in 36 countries/territories in Asia and the Pacific Rim for study abroad exchanges.
With a network of more than 200 participating higher education institutions in Asia, the Americas, and beyond, UMAP offers students a broad range of options for educational mobility including many destinations only available through UMAP.
KPU joins Coast Mountain College, College of New Caledonia, Douglas College, Justice Institute of BC, North Island College, Northern Lights College, Okanagan College, Royal Roads University, the University of Northern BC, and Acsenda School of Management, as the eleventh BC UMAP consortium member. The BC Council for International Education is Canada’s national secretariat for UMAP.
