2020 WES Online International Credential Evaluation Workshop
This online interactive workshop, delivered over the course of two subsequent mornings, will teach you how to use WES's proven evaluation methods and techniques, and show you the latest tools and resources to evaluate international credentials from Colombia and Mexico in a systematic and productive manner. Working with authentic credentials, you will hone your evaluation skills and gain insights that will help you streamline your admissions processes and make the most efficient and reliable admissions decisions for your institution.
During this workshop you will:
- Learn how to obtain appropriate and authentic academic documents
- Review and compare Canadian and foreign educational systems
- Acquire hands-on evaluation tips for credentials from Colombia and Mexico

Presenters
Greg Blitstein, Policy Analyst
Greg has worked as a credential analyst and policy analyst at WES since 2015. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed an internship as an elementary English teacher while studying at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Spain. Greg then worked as a researcher at the United States government’s Foreign Service Institute in Arlington, Virginia. Greg’s primary specialization areas at WES are Latin America and Spanish and Lusophone education systems.
Aditi Kadakia, Director, Global Education Policy and Development
Aditi Kadakia is Associate Director of Policy and Development. She directly oversees a team of 11 experienced evaluators who specialize in a variety of education systems. She has been at WES since 2011 and has a broad credential evaluations background. Aditi specializes in the education systems of the Commonwealth countries, including India, and in the application of WES evaluation methodology. She is a lead trainer for both internal staff and external workshops for conferences and education institutions in the U.S. and Canada. Aditi is a returned Peace Corps volunteer (Mozambique, 2008–2010) and a graduate of the University of Rochester.
Jessica Magaziner, Senior Knowledge Analyst Manager
Jessica has worked in credential evaluation and international education research at WES since 2012. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in French and Francophone studies and international studies at Pennsylvania State University. She has completed graduate-level study in international peace and conflict resolution at Arcadia University in Pennsylvania and the European Peace University in Austria. At WES, Jessica's primary specialization is French and Francophone systems of education.

Cancellation and refund policy
Refunds of event registration fees paid, less a $25.00 CAD administration fee, will be granted until Wednesday, June 10 at 4:00 p.m. Cancellation requests must be received in writing to events@bccie.bc.ca on or before this date.
No refunds will be given after Wednesday, June 10. However, name changes are allowed provided that they are submitted in writing to events@bccie.bc.ca on or before end of day of Monday, June 15.
