BCCIE is delighted to invite you to this unique event to meet with representatives from one of Brazil’s largest associations of private K-12 schools. The Brazilian Association of Private Educational Institutions of the Federal District (SINEPE / DF) represents more than 450 private K-12 schools and over 200,000 students from the Federal District in Brazil. The delegation coming to Vancouver is composed of 19 representatives from eight SINEPE affiliated schools and will be led by the association's President – Álvaro Moreira Domingues Júnior. The delegation’s objectives are to learn about BC’s education system, pathways for student and staff mobility, and to advance knowledge and best practices that address the tenets of internationalization. The delegation is interested in meeting with both BC K-12 and post-secondary institutions.

Background
The Brazilian Association of Private Educational Institutions of the Federal District (SINEPE / DF) is a consortium representing more than 450 private K-12 schools and over 200,000 students from the Federal District, in Brazil. The association’s headquarters in located in Brasilia. Since 1969 SINEPE/DF has worked to advance the opportunities for their students while engendering a passion for learning, achievement and excellence in the process of scientific, technological and cultural learning towards the development of Brazil and beyond.

Target audience
Heads of International, Superintendents and Principals from BC public and independent K-12 schools, and public and private EQA-designated post-secondary institutions.
Note: Please come prepared with collateral and promotional material, as well as any other resources that you deem appropriate. Immediately following the presentation, BC institutions will have opportunity to meet SINEPE representatives individually.
