Edu-Canada Fair in Mongolia
The Embassy of Canada in Mongolia is planning to organize the Second Canadian Education Fair at the Blue Sky Hotel and Tower in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital and its largest city with a population of 1.132 million. This event will promote educational opportunities in Canada and attract Mongolian and Russian Siberian students to study in Canada. The Embassy of Canada would like to invite your participation at the fair.
This event will mark the second all Canadian education fair in Mongolia to be organized at the Blue Sky Hotel and Tower, one of the newest venues in Ulaanbaatar equipped with modern technology and service. The public recruitment education fair will focus on post-secondary (undergraduate and graduate) education, lifelong learning, language courses. The Embassy of Canada plans to organize the education fair annually, in partnership with the Mongolian Ministry of Education and Science and the Canadian Alumni of Mongolia NGO. In October 2013, the Study in Canada fair attracted more than 2,000 visitors.
We recommend institutions travelling to China Education Expo in October-November, 2014 consider adding Ulaanbaatar to their list of fairs.

Further to the Brand Use Eligibility Policy jointly established by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) and the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), K-12 schools, post-secondary education institutions and language schools are invited to consult the provincial lists of eligible institutions on the Brand extranet at http://www.imagine.cmec.ca/en/zone/
In order to avoid processing delays, Canadian brand eligible institutions are requested to register for education promotion events using their business/legal name, as it appears on the respective provincial/territorial brand eligibility list.
If the institution is on the list, it is eligible to participate to the event. If it is not on the list, it is not eligible to participate unless there is clear and written consent of the province/territory where the institution is located.
Private schools authorized to use the curriculum of a province/territory outside of Canada are eligible to participate in the event as sponsors but will be positioned separately (in a non-branded area).
Banks, airlines and insurance companies offering services to students may participate as sponsors and will be situated in the non-branded area.
Education or immigration agents are not eligible to participate in the event, with the sole exception of agents designated by an eligible institution. In that case, agents are responsible to the institution that engaged their services and must adhere to all event guidelines and agent policy.
