Professional Development Roundtable and Networking Opportunity for Educational Practitioners and Study Abroad Alumni
Best Practices in Study Abroad Alumni Engagement Roundtable

In collaboration with the Study and Go Abroad Fair, BCCIE is co-hosting a professional development roundtable for education practitioners and study abroad alumni. The Best Practices in Study Abroad Alumni Engagement Roundtable will feature shared experiences and best practices on why diverse returnee programming opportunities are essential to campus internationalization and student development.
The roundtable will include discussions on the recruitment process, pre-departure support, digital storytelling, and professional development programming. Participants will learn about resources for returning student services, determine best practices for their campus or organization, and have an opportunity to share information from their own alumni efforts, including challenges and limitations.
A wine and cheese networking reception sponsored by the Study and Go Abroad Fair will follow the roundtable.

Communicating the Value of Your Study Abroad Experience to Employers

BCCIE will also be hosting a student-facing seminar in the afternoon. This seminar will help you translate your study abroad experience into language that will resonates with employers and speaks to the value written between the lines of your resume. We encourage practitioners to attend the seminar and invite their students!
