Rethinking Marketing and Agent Engagement (K-12)
Please note: This event is being hosted in collaboration with ICEF and IPSEA.
The session will begin with an update on the current state of international student mobility, how Canada compares to other receiving countries, and forecasts for the coming years with trends that are shaping the future of global student mobility.
With over 25 years of experience in international student recruitment ICEF has learned from common obstacles and mistakes educators make before, during and after our workshops, including:
- Insufficiently preparing and articulating your value proposition
- Focusing too heavily on small details instead of creating a personal relationship
- A lack of follow up strategy
- Not understanding key items agents are looking for when selecting partners
This session will address these common pitfalls and prepare you for your work with agents.
We will also look at key strategies to increase your brand’s reach and ensure that student interaction with your brand is a positive one. We will explore ways to make sure that students are finding the information they want and in a manner that they are comfortable with. Social media, communication strategies, and creating brand ambassadors will be examined.
Participants will be expected to bring questions and case studies for discussion and analysis. The session will include a presentation and a breakout for individuals to work independently or in groups to address their concerns.
