Marketing Your International Experience (a training for advisors)
This event is hosted by BCCIE, NAFSA Region I and AIFS.
We all know that students gain valuable transferable skills during their study abroad experiences, but how do we guide them in identifying and articulating these skills? These skills are highly-sought by potential employers, yet most students are not aware of how to talk about their experience in ways that employers will appreciate.
In collaboration with NAFSA Region I and AIFS, we are pleased to announce an Education Abroad webinar to provide you with tools to offer career development sessions to students on your campus. A student handbook and trainer guide will be shared in advance, which you may use with your students. We recommend you print a copy of each for easy reference during the webinar; the pdf documents are available upon registration.
You may wish to invite your Career Services colleagues to join the webinar too as there are many success stories of this session being offered to students in collaboration with Education Abroad and Career Services.
Presenters
Ann Hubbard | Director of Academic Assessment, AIFS Study Abroad
