Webinar | Inclusive Internationalization
Internationalization is increasingly tied to national goals related to economics and soft power (Trilokekar & El Masri, 2016) and to institutional goals related to finances and rankings. To many, internationalization of North America’s post-secondary education is driven by “globalization, privileges Western models” (Radford, 2013, p. 55). In more recent years, practitioners who are involved with internationalizing their academy, are challenged with the idea of “inclusive internationalization”. In this webinar, five practitioners in the field of international education will describe their perspective on inclusive internationalization – what does it mean? Why is it important? And how is it practised?
