The International Education Division at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) is pleased to invite provincial and territorial governments, national associations and eligible Canadian post-secondary institutions to participate in the Conference of the Americas for International Education (CAIE) in Quito, Ecuador. DFATD invites you to join us to participate in targeted meetings for Canada (details to be confirmed) and in the Canada pavilion during the Conference. Details are below.

Canada Pavilion at CAIE
Canada will be present with a Pavilion in the Exhibition Hall of the CAIE, where Canadian education representatives can promote their institutional programs and activities and meet with their international counterparts. The Canada Pavilion will host pre-registered Canadian institutions on a rotational basis. A schedule will be circulated and participants will be able to select their preferred timeslots in advance. To attend the Canada Pavilion, registration is necessary.

Tuesday, 20 October, 2015, 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 21 October, 2015, 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, 22 October, 2015, 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Further to the Brand Use Eligibility Policy jointly established by Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) and the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), K-12 schools, post-secondary education institutions and language schools are invited to consult the provincial lists of eligible institutions on the Brand extranet at http://www.imagine.cmec.ca/en/zone/
If the institution is on the list, it is eligible to participate to the event. If it is not on the list, it is not eligible to participate unless there is clear and written consent of the province/territory where the institution is located.
