Edu-Canada Undergraduate Outreach to India and Bangladesh
The Undergraduate Education Outreach 2015 is a joint initiative of the Government of Canada Trade Commissioner Service/Edu-Canada and the Indo-Canadian Business Chamber (ICBC), focussed on promoting Canada as an education destination for undergraduates.
Participation Details
- Sessions will take place in local institutions, with a view to bringing several cohorts of students together in one venue. The focus will be on Class XI and XII students
- Individual sessions for participating institutions as part of presentations
- Canadian Immigration Officer Presentation on Study Permit Applications, Post Graduate Work Permit Program and Immigration policies (TBC)
- Evening sessions with local contacts in select cities
- Media interview opportunities (TBC)
- Networking evening at Canadian embassy in Dhaka with student counsellors and principals (TBC)

Institutions must cover their own airfare, hotel, per diem and incidental expenses
Dates:
- January 27, Tuesday in Guwahati
- January 28, Wednesday in Shillong
- January 29, Thursday in Kolkata
- January 31 to February 2 in Dhaka
Participation Fee in Canadian Dollars (CAD):
- Guwahati: $ 500
- Shillong: $ 500
- Kolkata: $ 500
- Dhaka: $ 500
- Any 3 cities: $ 1250
- All Cities: $ 1500
Deadlines:
- Registration: November 30, 2014
- Payment: December 15, 2014
