Internationalization: Search Optimization (SEO) Demystified
Site managers, marketers and professionals with minimum knowledge in this field will be introduced to foundational search engine optimization (SEO) guidelines through an easy-to-understand approach. Amongst the topics explored, you will learn how your marketing objectives go hand-in-hand with SEO, the role that keyphrases should have in your site structure, how poor design may hinder a site’s visibility in search results, and SEO best practices to keep in mind throughout the life of your website. “Funny, inspirational, and educational”: That’s how Ava’s presentations have been described. Ava's career in digital marketing started in 1998 in Montreal, when she introduced Search Engine Optimization to a B2B agency. That was also when she became enraptured by Web analytics. She has since led countless projects in search marketing, social media, digital analytics, and email campaigns for provincial, national, and multinational organizations. Ava founded The Online Strategy House in 2009 to provide personalized and integrated digital marketing planning and implementation, always rooted in sound Web analytics practices. The company’s portfolio includes Vision Critical, the BC Patient Safety and Quality Council, and the John Howard Society of Alberta.
