Our self-directed mentorship program has minimal structure and fewer requirements to fulfill. BCCIE’s self-directed mentorship program acts as a complement to our formal mentorship program.

BCCIE’s self-directed mentorship program expectations:

• Communicate with your mentor/mentee through the duration of the year (a suggested minimum of 2 hours per month)
• Meet again at BCCIE’s annual conference for our year-end mentorship program event

BCCIE support self-directed mentorship participants can expect to receive:

• Continued support from BCCIE including updates on PD events in BC and other international news
• BCCIE support staff member available for questions or concerns throughout the duration of the program
• Periodic check-ins throughout the year
• A year-end mentorship program event during BCCIE’s annual conference
